James has also focused on creating and running an Arboretum of great tree species of the world. The Arboretum is located  on 40 hectares of land in South Western Victoria, frogwood.com.au.

In addition to his other interests James is currently managing a not for profit Incorporated Association called Creek-link, creeklink.org.au. Creek-link provides interactive online maps to local environmental groups like Landcare.
